Sarasota Half Marathon looking for volunteers

Organizers of the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay Race are looking for volunteers.

The half-marathon has already exceeded last year’s record of 3,500 participants and is expected to sell out at 4,200 before the race Sunday, March 16.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to help be a part of one of Sarasota’s largest single day sports events by supporting runners and walkers.

For those interested in taking part in the race, registration for both the half-marathon and two-person relay race closes March 14. Race day registration will not be available.

The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities.
