High five moments of the week

1 - The Booker High baseball team scored five runs on one hit in the top of the sixth inning to come from behind to defeat Bradenton Christian 6-4 March 3.

2 - The Riverview High softball team scored seven runs in the fourth inning to edge past Palm Harbor 7-6 in
district action Feb. 28.

3 - Joey Shamp went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs to lead the Sarasota Christian baseball team to a 9-0 victory over the Manatee HEAT in district action Feb. 28.

4 - Josh Bonynge struck out nine to lead the Cardinal Mooney baseball team to an 8-1 district victory against Bradenton Christian Feb. 27.

5 - Cardinal Mooney’s Tyler Garris finished second in the 169-pound weight class with a combined lift of 505 pounds at the Sarasota Invitational Weightlifting Tour-nament March 1.
