+ Dowdy posts his first shutout for ODA
Aidan Dowdy notched his first career shutout to lead The Out-of-Door Academy boys lacrosse team to a 14-0 victory over Admiral Farragut March 3.

Andrew Ramano scored four goals to lead the way for the Thunder. Max Provost, Max Mann and Ben Martin each scored two goals.

+ Sarasota Redskins registration underway
Early registration for the Sarasota Redskins 11- and 12-year-old spring tackle football season is now underway.

Cost is $100 per player if registered by May 1 and includes spring and fall seasons and equipment.

+ Tornadoes remain unbeaten
The Booker High boys tennis team improved to 6-0 with a 6-1 victory over Bayshore March 3.
Pablo Sanchez, Greg Burstein, David Klos and Joe Haygood all earned singles victories for the Tornadoes. Sanchez and Klos then teamed up for a victory at No. 1 doubles. Haygood and Alan Jaramillio were victorious at No. 2 doubles.

+ Lady Blazers notch big win over Northside
The Sarasota Christian softball team defeated Northside Christian 19-4 March 1.
Cheyenne Miller allowed five hits and three walks in five innings while striking out eight to earn the win on the mound. Miller also went 1-for-2 at the plate with a double and two RBIs.

McKenzie Lantz went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple.

Audra King was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Annika Jensen and McKenzie Clark both went 2-for-3.

Out-of-Door Academy Tennis
The Out-of-Door Academy boys and girls tennis teams both posted victories March 3.
The boys team defeated Northside Christian 6-1.

Daniel Pivonka, Vaughn Garcia, Jose Juncosa, Andrew Berg and Dennys Pellegrin all earned singles victories for ODA. Edward Hamburger and Marius Bschorer were victorious at No. 2 doubles.
On the girls side, the Lady Thunder defeated Northside Christian 4-2.

Morgan Woods, Megan Jones, Charlotte Dixon and Tori Onufrak all earned singles victories for ODA.
