- Aaron Blaise Solo Show — takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Madeby gallery. Disney director, Ringling grad and Academy-Award nominee Aaron Blaise will celebrate his first solo show opening tonight at Ringling's Madeby gallery. Get some more background on Blaise and his work here.
- ArtSlam — takes place from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 8, in downtown Bradenton. This Realize Bradenton fourth annual event will feature tons of art from 175 artist, as well as live music. Check out this interactive art exhibit made by New College students, which will be on display.
- Mardi Bras — takes place at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Sarasota Polo Club. Bros for Bras, in conjunction with Polo Under the Palms, will host this fundraising masquerade. $20.
- Chillounge Night — takes place from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Westfield Southgate Mall. This seventh annual event returns, larger than ever, in a new location. Enjoy an outdoor lounge-style party, featuring live music, fashion shows, fireworks and more. Learn more here.
