High five moments of the week

1 - Legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri was named an inductee to the 2014 Tennis Hall of Fame March 3. He’ll be inducted July 12.

2 - The Out-of-Door Academy boys and girls tennis teams both defeated Indian Rocks Christian March 7.

3 - The Lakewood Ranch High baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Manatee 3-2 Feb. 28.

4 - Luke Darnell went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and five RBIs to lead the Bradenton Christian baseball team to a 14-2 district victory against The Out-of-Door Academy March 4.

5 - The Braden River High softball team rallied from seven runs down to beat Palmetto 9-8 in the bottom of the ninth inning March 4.
