+ Longboat ladies celebrate International Women’s Day
Ladies in Sarasota and Manatee counties celebrated International Women’s Day March 8, during a special luncheon at the Polo Grill and Bar in Lakewood Ranch that drew Longboat Key residents, including Regina Gurland, Sue Hereford and Nancy Jones. The United Nations Women’s Gulf Coast Chapter featured the event, “Women Inspiring Change: Locally and Globally.” 

Guests enjoyed an international fair-trade market and networking with women’s organizations before a lunch and panel discussion led by moderator Lee-En Chung.
