The fifth annual Harvey Milk Festival will return to Five Points Park this year, from May 15 to 17 with the mission of celebrating the life of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay politicians with music, art and film.

Festival organizers recently announced the musical lineup, which includes headliners New York pop grit duo, Ghost Beach, and anonymous DJ, Slow Magic, as well as local and regional bands including MeteorEYES, Sons of Hippies, Hymn for Her, Wolf-Face, Luxury Mane, Seven Years Past, Human Like Toys, Ari and the Alibis, Physical Plant, and more.

Other events include an official after party at Throb nightclub and a screening of the documentary, "Dog," about the real-life events that inspired the Al Pacino film, "Dog Day Afternoon. For more information visit the festival's official website.
