YPG hosts free 'TEDx Manasota Live' viewing party

The Sarasota Young Professionals Group will host a free simulcast of the renowned TED Conference for up to 500 attendees at 8 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, March 18 on the roof of the Palm Avenue Garage. For advanced registration (required), click here.

In celebration of the lecture series' 30th anniversary, this series, called "The Next Chapter," will be live broadcast from Vancouver, Canada and will feature guest speakers, Bill and Melinda Gates, Gavin Schmidt, Zak Ebrahim and Sting.

The event is made possible through partnerships between the Young Professionals Group, the Greater Sarasota Chamber, the City of Sarasota Parking Division, Sarasota Downtown Merchants Association, Sarasota Film Festival, University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, New College of Florida, Ringling College of Art and Design, State College of Florida, Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Clasico and individual entrepreneurs.
