Junior varsity and varsity dancers at Braden River High School and all-star East County dancers took home top honors March 8 during the Marching Auxiliaries Competition in Sanford.

The Silver Lightning All Star Dance Team won a super sweepstakes award, a technique award in jazz, high point award in hip hop and choreography awards in jazz and hip hop.

The Braden River Varsity Black Pearls Dance Team won a super sweepstakes award, with additional awards for choreography in modern and hip hop and for technique for jazz and hip hop routines.

Braden River Junior Varsity Silver Pearls Dance Team won super sweepstakes and choreography awards for jazz, pom and hip hop routines.

The junior varsity team placed 13th of 52 teams, earning them a Winner’s Circle Cup Award.
