Irwin Pastor did not receive any campaign contributions between March 8 and March 22 — but the L’Ambiance resident has still raised more than any other Longboat Key Town Commission candidate this season, with $20,673 raised during the campaign. Pastor raised more than three times the $6,250 his opponent for the at-large seat, Armando Linde, raised during the race.

In the District 3 race, Terry Gans reported $12,093.38 in contributions, while his opponent, Ray Rajewski raised $3,001.20.

As of March 22, Pastor had spent $12,484.85 of his campaign funds, compared with the $4,801.60 Linde spent. Gans reported expenditures of $8,875.57, while Rajewski spent $2,034.36.

Unused campaign funds can be returned to donors or donated to a charitable organization.
