Earlier this month, two groups from Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School celebrated victories in state competitions.

Lakewood Ranch resident Miranda Carrassi was one of eight Saint Stephen’s students who took home the Stephen C. Shenkman Professionalism Award after her mock trial team competed March 5 in the Florida High School Mock Trial Competition.

Fellow team members were: Zhuo Zhao, Henry Bernet, Will Drogt, Katya Zavhorodnya, Sabel Duncan, Julien Freij and Alana Shukovsky.

Additionally, Lakewood Ranch resident Hannah Sage earned first place in written French during the 62nd Congrès de la Culture Française conference March 14 in Orlando.

Team members were: Laura DeMaio, Catie Brown, Michael Gharby, Lauri Schleicher, Christel Gharby, Letherio Jones and Jerry Alex Monosiet.
