WEEKEND BEST BET: Southeastern Guide Dogs Walk-a-thon

The Southeastern Guide Dog Walk-a-Thon invites families and their furry loved ones to raise heartbeats and dollars Saturday, March 29.

All proceeds from the event benefit the nonprofit. After the walk there will be live music, shopping vendors, food and puppies to hug.

Registration is free with no deadline.

Opening ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. with the walk taking place at 10 a.m.
