Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County has announced Deidre L. Danmeyer as its new Executive Director. Danmeyer will take over for retiring Executive Director Judith Wilcox.

Ms. Danmeyer has been with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando since 2005, where she grew the affiliate by 62% and managed an annual operating budget of $4,000,000. Danmeyer has also been with Habitat in Frederick County, Md.

Board President Michelle Hazeltine says the board is looking forward to working with Danmeyer.

“Her experience, passion and leadership are vital to our organization as we work to provide housing for low-income families in South Sarasota County.”
