Obituary: James Raymond Boyer

James Raymond Boyer, 75, of Sarasota, died April 23.

Born in Maryville, Tenn., Mr. Boyer moved in 1940 to Sarasota. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a devoted Southern Baptist.

Mr. Boyer is survived by his sons, Jimmy Boyer, of Jacksonville, Theron Boyer, of Bradenton, Patrick Boyer, of Bradenton, and Anthony Vassilaro-Boyer, of Longboat Key; and a brother, Edwin, of Bradenton.
