TINTED WINDOWS
2:00 p.m. — South Palm Avenue. Criminal Mischief. The manager of a restaurant reported that his windows and tag had been spray-painted black while he was parked in a parking garage. The man was able to scrape most of the spray paint off the windows by the next day, and officers found some latent fingerprints on the outside of the vehicle. The officer requested extra patrol for the parking garage at night.

SWIMMING FOOL
1:15 a.m. — 4800 block of North Tamiami Trail. Trespassing. A hotel employee said he wanted to evict and trespass a man from the property. The employee said the man appeared to be intoxicated, and had been warned repeatedly to stay in his room and not cause a disturbance. The man then jumped over a locked gate and went swimming in the closed pool. Officers informed the man that he had to leave the premises, at which point he gathered his belongings and left.

TEA-ED OFF
9:47 a.m. — 3000 block of Eden Mills Drive. Dispute/Fight. A woman complained that her tenant was not paying rent and also that she drank all the iced tea. The woman said she wanted the tenant to move out. Officers informed the woman she needed to file an eviction note to remove the tenant from the home.
