Tiny Hands Foundation launches Backpack Brigade

Tiny Hands Foundation is launching its Back to School Backpack Brigade to supply 1,500 backpacks containing school supplies for students of Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Tiny Hands Foundation, founded by Sarasota businessman and philanthropist Rod Khleif, is a nonprofit foundation that benefits local underprivileged families and is best known for its Annual Holiday Basket Brigade.

The nonprofit is asking for help from members of the community through donation and/or volunteering.

On Aug. 2, the Tiny Hands Foundation along with the Boys & Girls Club Sarasota, Tropicana and hundreds of donors and volunteers will fill 1,500 new backpacks with school supplies.
