+ Donation tosses up fun
Students at Nolan Middle School now can toss their way to victory thanks to a donation by Lowe’s.
With the support of Lowe’s manager Ray Bros, Nolan’s Technology Student Association students constructed eight cornhole sets.
TSA students used the SolidWorks program to design the sets. A team of students then constructed and painted them.
Student Morgan Kirchman and her grandmother handmade 64 bean bags for the sets, as well.
“(We) are excited to have this new resource for (our) students in an effort to promote physical fitness for everyone,” physical education teacher Brad Claussen says.
