Families at Gullett Elementary School celebrated their teachers and school staff during National Teacher Appreciation Week May 5 through May 9.

A parent committee organized a “garden of appreciation,” comprised of signs parents and students made. The signs were placed in the school entryway May 4, so teachers would be surprised when they arrived on campus.

The theme for the week was “The Greatest Staff on Earth,” and teachers received a special breakfast, gifts and other surprises.
