Obituary: Mary 'Maxine' Featherston

Mary “Maxine” Featherston, 81, of Angola, Ind., died May 13.

Mrs. Featherston received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Butler University and went on to teach elementary school in Noblesville, Ind., and in Lansing, Mich.

She and her husband, Elmer, wintered on Longboat Key, where Mrs. Featherston was a member of Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian.

Mrs. Featherston is survived by her husband, Elmer; son, Mark Featherston; daughters, Marcia Ventura and Margo Breininger; sister, Eileen Kitchens; and nine grandchildren.
