Braden River High School senior Rachel Stenger has earned a $1,000 scholarship from the Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island.

Stenger will attend the Ringling College of Art and Design in the fall and major in illustration.

This year’s guild scholarship was named in honor of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the guild. Karen Ellsworth, Artists’ Guild education and scholarship chairperson, presented Stenger with the scholarship.
