1 - Riverview High junior Karan Higdon scored two touchdowns to lead the Rams to a 13-12 victory over Southeast in its spring game May 23.

2 - Sarasota High baseball players Brandon Chapman, Evan Mendoza and Dylan Busby all were chosen to participate in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star game May 22 through May 24, in Sebring.

3 - Booker High quarterback Jeremiah Henderson threw two touchdowns and rushed for another score in the Tornadoes’ spring game versus Palmetto May 23.

4 - Upman’s Towing recently won the Sarasota Little League Spring 2014 Majors Championship.
