Friday, May 30

  • Craft Beer Book Signing with Gerard Walen — takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cock and Bull Pub. Meet beer guru and author of "Florida Breweries," Gerard Walen. Get an autograph and enjoy a cold one. $3.

Saturday, May 31

  • Bomber Car Wash — takes place from noon to 4 p.m. at Gulf Coast Auto Glass Service, 1515 10th St. West, Bradenton. The Bradentucky Bombers invite you to come get your car washed while you peruse their yard sale. This fundraiser will help keep the team rolling.
  • The Crew of the Scavenger Pirate Bash — takes place from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at South Lido Park. The Crew of the Scavenger is back after a several-year hiatus. The gang of party throwers has returned to throw a Pirate Bash, featuring live music by Lesa Silvermore, TwigLix, Summer Survivors and S.N.A.P.M. Food and drinks are on the Crew, but ID is required. Free.
  • Vocal Vixens at the Opera — takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Sarasota Opera House. The Vocal Vixens are Lyn Purmort, Kathryn Parks, and Hannah Jae — three Sarasota-based vocalists dedicated to celebrating the most sensational singers of all time. The vocal performance will take audiences through a variety of genres, performers and eras. $20 for general admission.

Sunday, June 1

  • Catching Hell Red Carpet Premiere Party — takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. at Daiquiri Deck, Siesta Key. Meet the cast and crew of The Weather Channel's show, "Catching Hell," including locals, Lisa Rollins and Danyar Khaiboullin. Enjoy drink specials and appetizers before the show premieres at 9 p.m.
