Nik Wallenda to return to Sarasota for December tightrope walk

After successfully completing his latest stunt — a pair of world-record-setting tightrope walks between two Chicago skyscrapers, uphill and blindfolded — King of the High Wire Nik Wallenda has announced plans for an upcoming performance a bit closer to home.

On December 6, the daredevil will perform a 200-yard tightrope walk 100 feet above the ground as part of Sarasota Ford's grand reopening ceremony, which will feature other performances by members of the Circus Arts Conservatory.
