• The Local Evolution Craft Market — takes place at 5 p.m. at Darwin Brewing Company. Meet your local farmers and artisans and enjoy freshly prepared food, local music and craft beer. Free.
• Guest Bar tending: Good Graeff — takes place at 8 p.m. at Shamrock Pub. Shamrock brings back its guest bar tending series with local band Good Graeff. The band will tend bar from 8 to 10 p.m. when they perform. Also enjoy performances from TKN and Sabals. Nonperishable food item for entry. All tips go to charity.
• Physical Plant, The Music Box, Glenarven and Lesa Silvermore — takes place at 9 p.m. at Growler's Pub. Enjoy live music from these local and regional acts and choose from a wide range of craft beers. Free.

Saturday, Nov. 8

• The Art of Food — takes place at 6 p.m. on the Palm Avenue Garage. The Junior League of Sarasota will host the inaugural Art of Food Festival to capture Sarasota's world-class culinary scene and art mecca. $100.
• Los Demolirs, Hail Dale, Brooke Graeff and Brian Ernst — takes place at 9 p.m. at Growler's Pub. Get down to the stylings of some of the city's best local musicians. Free.
