Longboat Key Commissioner Terry Gans and his wife, Diane, recently welcomed a new granddaughter into the world.
Eliza Jane Gans was born Oct. 16, in San Francisco, to Danny and Colleen Gans. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 inches.
