Shamrock revives Summer Chef Jam for special 'thank you' event

Once a week this summer, area chefs set up shop in a food truck outside Shamrock Pub and cooked small-plate meals for dozens of hungry patrons as part of the annual Summer Chef Jam series — a local favorite for foodies and beer lovers.

Now it's time to return the favor. This Monday, Nov. 17, the tables will turn as Shamrock Pub presents the "Thank You Summer Chefs! Jam." 

Under the guidance of Chef Marlyn from Ri..Quisimo food truck, Shamrock owner Derek Anderson, Edible Sarasota publisher Tracy Walsh Freeman and Shamrock's Annie Stone are preparing a special menu for all the participating chef's from this year's event, as well as the general public. 

For $20, guests will receive bottomless pints of three different Swamp Head beers, live music by DJ Andy Viohl and the following small-plate options:

  • Cuidad Mexico al Pastor tacos 
  •  Tracita drunken tequila tacos
  • Gringa Annita's tres leches
