Riverview High School received a donation of $5,000 during a break in the Kiltie Band Fall concert on Nov. 20. Members of the Band Seven Years Past presented a check to the Riverview High School Music Department for $3,500 from the battle of the bands at Rock for a Cause Oct. 11. The Community Foundation of Sarasota County decided to increase the total amount to $5,000 with an additional donation of $1,500.
