High Five Moments of the Week

1 - Cardinal Mooney sophomore Austin Katz recently qualified to swim in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2016 Olympic Trials.

2 - The Out-of-Door Academy seventh-grader Terra Ehrhart crossed the finish line in 24 minutes, 10 seconds to win the JV meet at the Lemon Bay Invitational Sept. 27.

3 - The Cardinal Mooney volleyball team defeated Imagine School of North Port 3-0 in district action Sept. 25.

4 - The Lakewood Ranch High boys cross-country team scored 52 points to win the Lemon Bay Invitational Sept. 27.

5 - Braden River outside hitter Siena Kelley was named to the all-tournament team after helping lead the Lady Pirates to a third-place finish at the Manatee County Volleyball Championships Sept. 26 and Sept. 27.
