The Beach Residences condo sells for $3,285,000

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Sept. 22 and Sept. 26.

A condominium in The Beach Residences tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Mark and Julie Slobodnik, of Lake Forest, Ill., sold their Unit 903 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Judith Jayson, of Sarasota, for $3,285,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,861 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.9 million in 2007.

Grand Bay
Uziel and Ilana Frydman, of Montgomery, Md., sold their Unit 431 condominium at 3010 Grand Bay Blvd. to Irene Keeley, of Clarksburg, W.Va., for $1,349,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 2,781 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.2 million in 2002.

Longboat Harbour Towers
Allan and Sandra Burrill, of East Hampton, Conn., sold their Unit 306 condominium at 4401 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Brian and Cheryl Mullin, of Cincinnati, for $515,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 961 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 1999.

Whitney Beach
Peter and Jean Stroh, of Wayne, Mich., sold their Unit 171 condominium at 6750 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Roberta Higgins and Maximilian Higgins, of Kent, United Kingdom, for $302,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,367 square feet of living area.

Cedars East
Keith and Janet Banks, of Kent, United Kingdom, sold their Unit 2 condominium at 603 Cedars Court to Steven and Angela Schiz, of Rye Brook, N.Y., for $220,000. Built in 1988, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,332 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $191,000 in 2000.

Lido Surf and Sand
Connie West, of Commerce, Ga., sold her Unit 818 condominium at 1104 Benjamin Franklin Drive to William Bartow Jr. and Barbara Bartow, trustees, of Sarasota, for $678,000. Built in 1976, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,154 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $685,000 in 2003.
