3 - Kelly Sun shot a 1-over-par 72 to lead the Lakewood Ranch boys golf team to a third-place finish at the Vinoy Classic Oct. 2.

4 - The Lakewood Ranch High volleyball team defeated rival Braden River 3-1 Oct. 2 to remain unbeaten in district action.

5 - Maddie McNally finished with 15 kills, four digs and two aces to help lead the Cardinal Mooney volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Bradenton Christian Sept. 30.
