Rick Perry headed to Sarasota

Another Republican heavyweight is heading to Sarasota, thanks to the local GOP organization.

The Republican Party of Sarasota will honor Texas Gov. Rick Perry as the 2014 Conservative of the Year Nov. 17, at Robarts Arena. Perry joins Donald Trump, Haley Barbour, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and former presidential candidates Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain and others as guests of the Sarasota GOP in the last three years.

Tickets for the event range from $75 to to $250 for a VIP reception and dinner, and $2,500 for a table sponsorship. Click here for more information.
