Girl Scout earns Silver Award

+ Girl Scout earns Silver Award
Cypress Potter recently earned her Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest award for Girl Scout cadets in grades sixth through eighth, from the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida. She organized and hosted an orchestra workshop this summer to spark students’ interest in orchestra.

She taught attendees about types of stringed instruments and played them music from famous composers.

Cypress attended Haile Middle School and now is a freshman at Lakewood Ranch High School.
