Obituary: Wendy Penfield

Wendy Penfield, 64, of Longboat Key, Montreal, Toronto and Ubud, Indonesia, died.

Born in 1950, Ms. Penfield was a widely published world adventure travel writer who served as an editor at Montreal Calendar and editor of Air Canada’s En Route before retiring to become a caregiver for her father, Wilder Jr., and, later, her mother, Berry Penfield, on Longboat Key.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
