The Beach Residences condo sells for $2.84 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between Oct. 6 and Oct. 10.

The sales of two condominiums in The Beach Residences top all transactions in this week’s real estate. Big Family Holdings LLC sold the Unit 802 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to James and Lorna Mack, of Sarasota, for $2.84 million. Built in 2005, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,964 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.3 million in 2008.

Geoffrey Bicknell sold his Unit 503 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to VSG Holdings Ltd. for $2,755,000. Built in 2005, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and 3,861 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.55 million in 2011.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
The Dunham Family Ltd. Partnership sold the Unit F-408 condominium at 415 L’Ambiance Drive to Hugh MacArthur, of Weston, Mass., for $2.5 million. Built in 1992, it has three bedrooms, three baths, two half-baths and 3,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $875,000 in 1993.

Dorothy Flurry and Sandra Nelson, of Hot Springs, Ark., sold their Unit 401 condominium at 2675 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Allen Brown and Anna Bacher-Brown, trustees, of Longboat Key, for $850,000. Built in 1979, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,180 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $420,000 in 1996.

Harbour Oaks at Longboat Key Club
Gage McNally LLC sold the Unit 1001 condominium at 2119 Harbourside Drive to Lawrence and Palma Panza, of Longboat Key, for $664,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,219 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $289,000 in 1986.

Sunset Beach on Longboat Key
William Glover, of New York City, sold his Unit 3403 condominium at 2105 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Naomi Topper, trustee, of Highland Park, Ill., for $655,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,463 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $600,000 in 2010.

The Beaches of Longboat Key
Linda Brennan, trustee, of Ontario, Canada, sold the Unit 304 condominium at 775 Longboat Club Road to Frank Volpicello, of St. James, N.Y., for $622,500. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,602 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $610,000 in 2012.

The Water Club
Bonnie Lizzio, of Bedford, N.Y., sold the Unit 806 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Robert Davies, of Bedford, N.Y., for $600,000. Built in 1999, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,665 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $782,500 in 1999.

Islands West
Ramona Hockema, of Union, Ky., sold her Unit 4-B condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Joseph Colucci, of Staten Island, N.Y., for $560,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,491 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2002.

Lynn Tippetts, of Tucker, Ga., sold her Unit 6-B condominium at 2525 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Alan Dezen, of Longboat Key, for $525,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,491 square feet of living area.

Longbeach on Longboat Key
Alice LaFlamme, Randal LaFlamme and Anna and Robert Howell, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 660 Longboat Court to Judith Chable, of Longboat Key, for $525,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,904 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $637,000 in 2007.

Aquarius Club
Elna Stokes, of Lacombe, La., sold her Unit 1-H condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ramsey and Joyce Mills, of Longboat Key, for $515,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,551 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $580,000 in 2007.

Longboat Harbour
Jeffrey and Claudia Shavelson, of East Meadow, N.Y., sold their Unit 202 condominium at 4400 Exeter Drive to Michael and Elaine Capaldi and Jason Capaldi, of Gross Pointe Farms, Mich., for $255,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 992 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $297,000 in 2003.

Beachplace
John and Beverly Spittell, trustees, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 1125 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Ellen Spittell, of Galesburg, Ill., for $250,000. Built in 1979, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,172 square feet of living area.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Eugene Shea, of Rye, N.H., sold his Unit 17 condominium at 637 Spanish Drive N. to William and Anne Hasenfus, of Norfolk, Mass., for $220,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,057 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $234,000 in 2002.

Turtle Crawl Inn
Davidson Lunger and Jacqueline Green, of Stevensville, Md., sold their Unit 83 condominium at 4235 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Melissa Behrend, of St. Louis, for $217,400. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 650 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $475,000 in 2004.
BIRD KEY
Duane Harms and Judith Russell, of Sarasota, sold their home at 348 W. Royal Flamingo Drive to Ray and Marla Dils, of Longboat Key, for $2,495,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,211 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,125,000 in 2012.

Angel and Isabel Caban, of Bradenton, sold their home at 665 N. Owl Drive to Geoffrey Bicknell, of Douglas, United Kingdom, for $2.4 million. Built in 2001, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,615 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,321,400 in 2005.

Blue Mountain Homes LLC sold the home at 400 Pheasant Drive to Dale Ott and Kathy Seiders, of University Park, for $630,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,160 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $553,000 in 2013.
