High Five Moments of the Week

1 - The Lakewood Ranch High boys and girls cross-country teams both scored 43 points to finish second overall in the 13-team Tri-County Cross Country Championships Oct. 23.

2 - Braden River’s Luke Morris finished second in the 100-year backstroke and the 200 individual medley at the Class 3A-District 8 meet Oct. 23.

3 - Natalie Buffett finished with 16 kills to lead the ODA volleyball team to a 3-0 victory against Bradenton Christian in the Class 3A-District 10 semifinals Oct. 21.

4 -  Running back Najee Rhodes scored a pair of touchdowns on runs of 68 and 75 yards in ODA’s non-district game versus St. Stephen’s Oct. 24.

5 - Cardinal Mooney linebacker Tyler Garris returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Cougars’ non-district game against Victory Christian Oct. 24.
