    Can I Kick It?

    • 7:09 a.m. Oct. 25. 1900 block of North Orange Avenue. Criminal Mischief. A police officer responded to a family disturbance from a woman who stated she heard loud banging outside her home, followed by text messages from her ex boyfriend stating he was going to slash her tires. When she exited the house, she saw the man, who she asked to permanently move out several days prior, leaving the area. The woman noticed a dent and shoe imprint on her car door. While speaking to the officer, the ex boyfriend called and asked to speak to the officer, who asked him to return and explain his side of the story. The ex explained he was only trying to set off the car's alarm and didn't realize he'd kicked the door so hard. The woman did not want him arrested, but she did not want him at the residence. Officers explained he was not to return, and the woman was provided a case number.
