Cardinal Mooney linebacker Tyler Garris returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Cougars’ non-district game against Victory Christian.

ODA running back Najee Rhodes scored a pair of touchdowns on runs of 68 and 75 yards. Rhodes finished with 238 yards on 21 carries.

Booker vs. Southeast

Booker sits in sole possession of second place in the Class 5A-District 13 standings at 2-1. With a win over Southeast, the Tornadoes will clinch a berth in the playoffs for the second-consecutive season. Booker can still make the playoffs with a loss, but would need Wauchula Hardee to defeat district champion DeSoto County to set up a three-team tiebreaker.
