The inner workings of a theater production are usually just that: inner workings.

The general public isn't typically privy to just what it takes to pull off a play, musical or any other type of performance.

But just like a movie with director's commentary, or VH1's "Behind the Music," now, you, too can get an intimate look at the methodology, logistics and elbow grease that lie largely unknown behind Asolo Repertory Theatre's productions thanks to its new series, Inside Asolo Rep.

This recurring event brings the behind-the-scenes faces to the forefront in a series of panel discussions intended to provide audiences with further insight into the theater's productions.

This Wednesday, Nov. 5, the public can learn more about the upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, "South Pacific," (opening Friday, Nov. 14)  in a panel discussion with the musical's director, Rob Ruggiero, and music director, William Waldrop, led by Asolo Rep's dramaturg and literary manager, Lauryn Sasso.

For a chance to win two free tickets to Inside Asolo Rep: "South Pacific," subscribe to our newsletter by Monday, Nov. 3.
