The Mall at University Town Center seeks photography entries

Can you think of a creative way to display three letters that represent a shopping force coming to the area in October?

To get the community ready for East County's newest shopping strip, The Mall at University Town Center (UTC) seeks participants to arrange U, T and C in a unique way and photograph the display for the "Show Off Your UTC" contest.

Entries must be submitted to the mall's Facebook page through Sept. 30. Facebook fans of the mall can vote for their favorite photo Oct. 10 through Oct. 19. Participants can vote once per day.

The winner will receive a plethora of mall-related prizes, which include a $5,000 shopping spree, one year of valet parking at the mall, $250 in dining vouchers and a Santa photo package. Finalists will receive a $1,000 shopping spree and two tickets to the mall's sneak peek charity event, Oct. 15.

Voters will be entered into 10 daily $1,000 shopping spree drawings.

All finalists will also have their photo entries showcased at the mall during the grand opening weekend.
