1 - Former Booker High running back Marlon Mack scored four touchdowns and tied a USF school record with 275 rushing yards to lead the Bulls to a 36-31 victory over Western Carolina Aug. 30.

3 - The Cardinal Mooney volleyball team defeated St. Stephen’s 25-22, 25-19, 25-12 in its district opener Sept. 4.

4 - The Lakewood Ranch High girls cross-country team scored 84 points to finish second at the Estero DDD Invitational Sept. 6.

5 - Cardinal Mooney’s Cal Davidson Turner finished fifth overall at the Holloway Park Jamboree Sept. 6, crossing the finish line in 16:59.20.
