Obituary: Philip George Barach

Philip George Barach, 84, of Longboat Key and Brookline, Mass., died Aug. 31.

Mr. Barach was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston University and Harvard Business School. In 1955 he married Sheila Brown, of Newton, Mass. They moved in 1962 to Cincinnati, and Mr. Barach became chief executive officer of the United States Shoe Corp.; he remained in that position until his retirement in 1993.

Mr. Barach is survived by his wife, Sheila; three sons, Michael, David and Daniel; and 13 grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 4 at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, in Brookline Mass., with interment at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, in West Roxbury, Mass.
