Glasser/Schoenbaum Center announces new president

The Glasser Schoenbaum Human Services Center announced that Kameron Partridge Hodgens will take over as president and CEO beginning Oct. 13.

In a release Board President, Robert Coppenrath expressed some of Hodgens qualifications and why she was chosen.

“The Board of Directors is excited to have Kameron as our next leader,” Coppenrath said. “Kameron’s experience, knowledge and involvement in the Sarasota Community make her very qualified for the position. We are confident that Kameron was the right choice to lead the organization into its next phase of providing opportunities for those we serve.”

Currently Hodgens is the vice president of programs and services for Easter Seals Southwest Florida where she has served since 2008.

Hodgens is a native to the area with ties to the Sarasota and Manatee communities. This year the National Association of Social Workers recognized Hodgens when she was named the 2014 Public Citizen of the Year.

“I am honored and excited to have been chosen to lead The Glasser Schoenbaum Human Services Center,” Hodgens said. “I look forward to joining an organization that has given back so much to our community throughout its history. The Center’s possibilities of assisting those in need are limitless as we look towards its future.”
