Four-bedroom Bird Key home sells for $4.55 million

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Kerlyn Holdings Ltd. sold the home at 602 S. Owl Drive to Marie Baker and Mark Woglom, of Sarasota, for $4.55 million. Built in 2012, it has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half-baths, a pool and 5,581 square feet of living area. 

Positano
Randall Welch and Cynthia Heit-Welch, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, sold their Unit 206 condominium at 4965 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Dan and Karen Muehlenbein, of Indianapolis, for $3.15 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,343 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.8 million in 2009.

Country Club Shores
Robert and Martha Scharff, of St. Louis, sold their home at 656 Halyard Lane to Marvin Jaffe and Susan Lohr, of Longboat Key, for $2,355,000. Built in 1964, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,531 square feet of living area. 

Jeff and Laurie Birnbach sold their home at 561 Chipping Lane to Ihan Rodriguez, of Longboat Key, for $730,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,237 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $785,000 in 2013.

The Water Club at Longboat Key
3547604 Canada Inc. sold the Unit 407 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Evelyn Rothbard, trustee, of Marblehead, Mass., for $1.41 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,273 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,135,000 in 2000.

Longboat Cove
Michael and Judith Scharf sold their Unit 405 condominium at 5481 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and Elaine Frank, of Canandaigua, N.Y., for $770,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,516 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $670,000 in 2003.

The Privateer North
Andrew Hill, of Tampa, sold the Unit 1002 condominium at 1050 Longboat Club Road to Scott and Teresa Greenfield, of Sanford, for $625,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,290 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $537,000 in 2012.

Westchester 
Carmen Heck, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 405 condominium at 4825 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Gino and Marilee Garlanda, of Youngsville, N.Y., for $615,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,393 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $178,000 in 1991.

Harbour Oaks at Longboat Key
Anna McCann, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 505 condominium at 2171 Harbourside Drive to John and Lorraine Reynolds, of Garden City, N.Y., for $614,000. Built in 1984, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,219 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $539,000 in 2012. 

ST. ARMANDS

St. Armands Towers
James and Linda Conroy, trustees, sold the Unit 10W condominium at 101 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Michael Haney, trustee, of Villanova, Pa., for $1.5 million. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,487,600 in 2011.

La Playa
Property Investment Partner LLC sold the Unit 104 condominium at 4425 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Thomas and Sharon Barnes, of Zionsville, Ind., for $589,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,008 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2007.

Emerald Pointe South
Deborah Koerber, trustee, of Windermere, sold the Unit 1 condominium at 1901 Harbour Links Circle to David and Audrey Valentine, of Longboat Key, for $544,000. Built in 2001, it has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, a pool and 2,376 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $476,300 in 2001.

Sand Cay
Robert and Marilyn Fisher, trustees, of Orange Park, sold the Unit 314 condominium at 4725 Gulf of Mexico Drive to D. Douglas and Karen Simmons, of Bowling Green, Ohio, for $409,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,104 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1998.

Windward Bay
Mary Jahnke sold the Unit 202 condominium at 4700 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Richard Bossung, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $300,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $285,000 in 2014.

Bird Key
S. Sanford and Patricia Schlitt sold the properties at 491 Meadow Lark Drive to Sean and Melanie Natarajan, of Sarasota, for $1.65 million. Built in 1961, it has four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a pool and 6,103 square feet of living area. 

The second property, built in 1966, has four bedrooms, four and a half baths and 3,635 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $634,000 in 1993.
