MAIL MAN
3 p.m. — 400 block of North Conrad Avenue
Suspicion Person: A woman saw an unknown man standing near her mailbox, walking a small white dog. The woman informed officers that she has seen the man walking his dog several times in the past few weeks. The woman said she does not recognize the man as one of her neighbors, and reported that the man leaned on her mailbox. She attempted to confront the man, but he left before she could get to the front door. The woman was not sure if the man opened her mailbox or if he was picking up dog waste, but she did not believe she was missing any mail. The woman called the post office to report the incident, and the post office employee suggested she call the police. An officer was unable to locate the subject.

The employee reviewed surveillance footage from the night and saw four men run out of a car that pulled into the garage. The men ran out of the camera’s view and ran back to the car a few seconds later, laughing. The men then got back into their car and left. After reviewing the footage, an officer said nothing could be done because the video only implies that the men are responsible for the vandalism.
