 The Riverview High boys tennis team beat George Steinbrenner 5-2 in the regional finals April 9 to earn a berth in the Class 4A state tournament.

 Booker High’s Jamal Watson (shot put) and Mia Forschner (800) both won individual district titles at the Class 2A-District 11 track-and-field meet April 9.

 Patrick Warren scored four goals and added an assist to help power the Cardinal Mooney boys lacrosse team to a 22-1 victory over Sarasota Military Academy in the District 16 semifinals April 7.
