If you're a normal human being, and a beer menu consisting of several hundred bottles and drafts seems slightly ... overwhelming ... don't worry; you still have four days to study the World of Beer Main Street menu selection before its official grand opening party this Saturday.

After months of anticipation, the downtown World of Beer location officially opened its doors this week. We took a look over the selection of drafts and bottles to give you a jumping-off point in this seemingly endless selection.

+ For the novelty: Big Top Brewing Co. Chocolate Peanut Butter and Bananas Foster Brown Ale aged with Siesta Key Rum

Yes, the title is a mouthful, and if you're feeling adventurous, this combination of flavors is sure to be just as complex. It's local brewery Big Top Brewing Co.'s Chocolate Peanut Butter Brown Ale aged in banana-lined Siesta Key Rum barrels. If the idea alone doesn't make this a beer worth trying, tap into your charitable side — the proceeds from this specialty collaboration firkin will benefit Southeastern Guide Dogs.

+ For the no-nonsense drinker: Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout

Normally only available on Black Friday, this somewhat-hard-to-find, 14% ABV Chicago stout means business. Starting late this week, you can find it at the new World of Beer location. Whether you're a fan of barrel-aged stouts or you're just looking to start the night out with a bang, it's kind of hard to argue with a Beer Advocate score of 100.

+ For the novice: Florida Beer Co. Florida Lager

Brewed in Cape Canaveral, this Lager is a good choice for the newcomer to the beer scene. It has a low alcohol content; it's easy drinking; and it's not Bud Light. There's a whole world of beer out there. Consider this your first step.

For the support-local drinker: Darwin Brewing Co. Summadaze IPA with fennel

This beer is a staple of the award-winning Darwin Brewing Co.'s wheelhouse. It's a fruity, citrusy IPA with fennel-infused malts, and if you're a fan of hops, it's a no-brainer.

For the spring weather: Boulevard Brewing Co. Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale

This farmhouse ale from beloved Midwest brewery Boulevard Brewing Co. has finally made its way to Florida. It's a fruity, citrusy and hoppy Saison with a well-balanced flavor that more than masks its surprisingly high 8.5% ABV.
