Gulf of Mexico Drive home sells for $3.2 million

A home on Gulf of Mexico Drive tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Irene Pompliano, trustee, of Longboat Key, sold the home at 5030 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Alice Wellington, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $3.2 million. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 4,246 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $975,000 in 1995.

The Water Club
Robert Lang, trustee, of New York City, sold the Unit 101 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Paul and Victoria Guagliardo, of Summit, N.J., for $2.4 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four and a half baths and 2,850 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.9 million in 2005.

Claire Smith, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 608 condominium at 1241 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Peter Seitzman and Joseph Minola, of Longboat Key, for $1,575,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, four baths and 2,965 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $774,100 in 1996.

Sanctuary at Longboat Key Club
John and Dorothy Westerberg, of Sarasota, sold their Unit B-405 condominium at 535 Sanctuary Drive to Karl and Helen Romine, trustees, of Longboat Key, for $1.4 million. Built in 1990, it has two bedrooms, two and a half baths and 2,590 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $480,000 in 1990.

Country Club Shores
James and Lou Ann Ranck, of Holmes Beach, sold their home at 600 Bowsprit Lane to William and Cynthia Lowery, of Inverness, Ill., for $1.3 million. Built in 1998, it has four bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,228 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,275,000 in 2012.

Charles Shearson and Jennifer Wainwright, trustees, of Longboat Key, sold the home at 572 Ranger Lane to Richard and Marsha Kolb, of Libertyville, Ill., for $680,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 1,820 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 1988.

Grand Mariner
Grand Mariner on Dream Island LLC sold the Unit 35A condominium at 595 Dream Island Road to Donald Robinson, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $1.25 million. Built in 2008, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,928 square feet of living area.

James Richard, trustee, of Wooster, Ohio, sold the Unit 105 condominium at 1055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Patricia Washchyshyn, trustee, of Ontario, Canada, for $798,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $238,000 in 1982.

James Ahstrom Jr., trustee, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1485 Gulf of Mexico Drive to J. Taggert and Marta Birge, of Indianapolis, for $592,500. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,774 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $910,000 in 2005.

Donald and Marie Niestrom, trustees, of Darien, Ill., sold the Unit P-C condominium at 1701 Gulf of Mexico Drive to 2432780 Ontario Inc. for $545,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,551 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 1994.

Fairway Bay
Paul Carreiro and Kimberley Pelyk, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit 322 condominium at 2016 Harbourside Drive to Yvonne Zhang, of Longboat Key, for $470,000. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2012.

Peter Percival, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 132 condominium at 1930 Harbourside Drive to Randall Voss, of Springfield, Mo., for $412,500. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. 

1502 LLC sold the Unit 1502 condominium at 2000 Harbourside Drive to Fairway Bay LLC for $305,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,598 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $292,000 in 2001.

James Rothschild, Bruce Rothschild, Karen Mondell and Frank Rothschild, of Baltimore, sold their Unit M1-305-H condominium at 2045 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Stacey Warren, of Culver, Ind., for $375,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,265 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $71,900 in 1977.

Longboat Harbour
Patricia McCollister, trustee, and Stephen McCollister, of Omaha, Neb., sold the Unit 206 condominium at 4380 Exeter Drive to Jonathan and Paulette Huber, of Longboat Key, for $325,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,168 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 2014.

Robert Porter and Jeff Helmenstine, of Sun Prairie, Wis., sold their Unit 202 condominium at 4310 Falmouth Drive to Darryl and Kathleen Marshall, of Longboat Key, for $262,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 928 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2004.

Frank Adashun and David Mauer, of Verona, Wis., sold their Unit T-504 condominium at 4235 Gulf of Mexico Drive to TURTLECRAWL504 LLC for $229,100. Built in 1973, it has one bedroom, one bath and 720 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $295,000 in 2010.

David Feuerstein sold his Unit 906 condominium at 1300 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Grant and Carolyn Kief, of Glen Elyn, Ill., for $2,375,000. Built in 2005, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 3,017 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,125,000 in 2006.

Key Towers South
Harold Sheehan, trustee, and Judith Sheehan, of Aurora, Ohio, sold the Unit 6-B condominium at 1750 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Fernway LLC for $735,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,364 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $750,000 in 2004.

Lido Harbour
Charles and Virginia Combs, trustees, sold the Unit 104 condominium at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Wanda Wade, trustee, of Marlboro, Md., for $480,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $255,000 in 2004.

John Ringling Estates
Ivan Liasovsky and Renata Liasovsky, of Sarasota, sold their home at 556 N. Washington Drive to James and Mary Condon, of Rochester, N.Y., for $948,000. Built in 1950, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,799 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $750,000 in 2001.

Carol Haley, of Sarasota, sold her two properties at 135 Cleveland Drive to Rafael Miccio and Elenora Miccio-Lodi, of Sarasota, for $583,000. The first, built in 1946, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,192 square feet of living area. The second, built in 1946, it has one bedroom, one bath and 476 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $150,000 in 2014. It previously sold for $120,000 in 1988.

Barbel Wilkens, of Mililani, Hawaii, sold her home at 336 Bob White Way to Victor Rendano Jr., of Groton, N.Y., for $805,000. Built in 1972, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,000 in 2009.

Edgar and Kay Greve, of Sarasota, sold their home at 422 E. Royal Flamingo Drive to PR Capital LLC for $700,000. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 2,242 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $675,000 in 2014.
