Christian softball team beat Southwest Florida Christian 12-2 to win their second straight Class 2A-District 9 title April 16.

The Sarasota High boys and girls track teams scored a combined 179 points to finish second at the Class 3A-District 10 meet April 15.

 The Riverview High softball team beat Manatee 7-2 in the Class 8A-District 8 semifinals April 14 to earn a berth in the regional tournament.
