3:41 p.m. — 8700 block of S.R. 70 East
Information: An employee compared the way he was being treated to Adolf Hitler’s behavior while speaking with a co-worker and said that someone is going to be dead. Two weeks earlier, while holding a bowie knife, he told the same co-worker that someone is trying to get him fired and that someone is going to die. He also said he would try to destroy the co-worker’s online reputation. Police told the co-worker the man wasn’t directly threatening him, so all they could do was document information.

11:13 a.m. — 6300 block of S.R. 70 East
Information: A woman reported that her teacher at a technical school grabbed her arm as she was leaving the classroom. The woman had been suspended for carrying a Taser on campus and had returned to retrieve her belongings. At that time, she said the teacher grabbed her arm as she was leaving. It was the second time the woman had been withdrawn from the teacher’s class, and the woman said she feels like the teacher is out to get her.

9:14 a.m. — 8400 block of Lockwood Ridge Road
Trespass: Police saw a man and woman whom they had previously trespassed from a gas station property on the same property with two others. Police confirmed that the previous warning remains active and that the store owner wanted the man and woman arrested for trespassing.
April 15
10:15 a.m. — Intersection of 63rd Avenue East and Lockwood Ridge Road
Suspicious Incident Involving Children: A man reported that another man in his early to mid-40s driving a green truck or SUV tried to make verbal contact with his 10-year-old son the day before while his son was at a bus stop. The boy reported the incident to his father when he picked him up.
7:06 p.m. — 5800 block of Ranch Lake Boulevard
Grand Theft: A woman filled her shopping cart with pillows and blankets at a supercenter, then headed to the electronics department and broke the iPad display case before filling the cart with tablets. She then returned to the housewares department and placed the iPads in a rolling suitcase and duffle bag.
April 18
7:39 a.m. — 600 block of 67th Street Circle East
Battery: A woman was staying at a motel with her longtime boyfriend and got into an argument that turned physical and continued outside the room. Both sustained injuries and were arrested.

3:12 p.m. — 6300 block of Thorndon Circle
Burglary: Suspect(s) entered a residence through a living room’s sliding glass door, broke the lock on the master bedroom closet door and rummaged through the victim’s belongings before fleeing the scene.
April 13
3:35 p.m. — 5200 block of 32nd Street East
Battery, Theft: A woman said someone entered her kitchen through her laundry room and grabbed both of her wrists, then her throat and pushed her along the kitchen wall before stealing her medication. The woman became uncooperative during the investigation, saying she was hungry and wanted to leave.
2:37 p.m. — 7900 block of Wyndham Court
Burglary: An unknown person entered a home through an unlocked back door and stole multiple bottles of cologne and jewelry from closets.

5:36 p.m. — 7800 block of Rio Bella Place
Petit/Grand Theft: A man discovered that his canoe, valued at $1,534, was missing. The canoe is heavy and would likely require two people to move. He believes landscapers who have been in the area recently could be responsible.
April 16
9:12 p.m. — 4600 block of Sabal Harbour Drive
Battery: Two males were playing basketball and got into an argument when one called the other an explicit name. The suspect then asked the victim if he wanted to fight, and the altercation became physical. The victim dislocated his shoulder.
