Now and again, everyone craves something sweet after dinner. Dessert has long been the favorite meal of our sweet-toothed friends, and why should that stop at the drink menu?

As a host, dessert cocktails open up a whole new way to entertain your guests. While some people may pass on a slice of cheesecake, fearing so many calories, I say swirl in it a glass, and the calories almost disappear. Almost ...

Try these two cocktails for just the right amount of sweet and refreshing.

Strawberry Cheesecake Martini:

  • 1 ½ oz. house-infused strawberry cheesecake vodka (recipe follows)
  • 2 oz. vanilla cream

Combine vodka and vanilla cream in a shaker and add ice.

Shake well, strain into a martini glass and garnish with a sliced strawberry and a graham-cracker rim.

Strawberry cheesecake infusion:

  • 3 slices of your favorite cheesecake
  • 1 pint of Strawberries
  • 1 liter of your favorite vodka

Remove stems from the strawberries and cut into quarters.

Place strawberries and cheesecake into a mason jar and add vodka.

Shake well and store in the refrigerator for at least three days, shaking occasionally.

Once the taste is to your liking, strain and enjoy!


Very Berry Freeze

  • ½ oz. vanilla vodka
  • ½ oz. raspberry vodka
  • ½ oz. Chambord Liqueur
  • 1 ½ oz. vanilla cream
  • squeeze of blueberry puree
  • ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree on high.

Garnish with whipped cream and berries. Enjoy!
